UPMOVIOM WORKING SYSTEM
1. ORDER REGISTRATION
The order is received in the company through the normal channels: in person, by phone, fax, e-mail or on- Upmovion web page.
Once the order has been received, all the information is entered in either the company management system or Upmovion´s own program. If the company management system is chosen, we offer the required support to synchronise both programs and make them work perfectly together.
2. ORDER PROCESSING
Once the order has been entered in the program, the platform operator receives it with an indication of the urgency of the order. If there is a customer requiring immediate delivery, the order is processed at once, whereas all other orders are put on the order list which is dealt with in chronological order.
Six orders can be processed at the same time in our platform while one gap is left free for urgent orders.
The program optimizes the process by reducing the number of movements within the platform.
Every time an order line is processed, the material quality number is entered manually or using a bar code. In this way the system is aware that the ordered material is ready.
When an urgent order is ready, the system lets the commercial department know by sending them a message.
Materials are taken directly to the point where the order is being processed, either manually or with the help of one or two hoists, in the case of greater-volume packages. This ensures increased time saving compared to orders that are processed individually.
In just one single platform movement, six orders can be processed with fifteen different references each totaling a weight of six thousand five hundred kg. This is our platform transporting capacity.
3. ORDER UNLOADING
Once the order is ready, it is unloaded and placed for shipping or direct delivery to the customer.
4. STOCK CONTROL
The Upmovion system program incorporates a stock control tool which uses the material´s location to indicate when boxes are nearly empty. The material can be replaced with a conventional overhead travelling crane while the platform continues to operate. There is no risk for personnel who are in close proximity because the platform safety system detects them, automatically stopping the machine.
